Wall of Gratitude

Guests of the Proper Thanksgiving Feast were invited to express their feelings of gratitude on notecards provided at the event. Following are the reflections shared at the 2014 feast.

  • My name is [Name]. I am thankful for St. Johns because I’m homeless and don’t know where I’d be without all of its amazing streets and rooftops. But most of all: I’m so thankful for having the best man in the world. His name is [Name] and he spoils me rotten with love and gifts. He protects me, believes in me, and I just can’t ask for more.   3. I am thankful for our natural families. And, I am thankful for our spiritual families.
    I am SO thankful to see ‘People Reaching Out to Help Other People’ with the unselfish, undying, and awesome love of God; doing as God commands us to do in His Word… in short, if there is a need to fill, I am thankful that CT is there in the strength of God, to FILL IT!!

  6. I am Thankful 4 ME! Yep!! 4 the first time every I am Thanking God 4 Me! After all He did die 4 Me!…Thanking Him for my pass up till now! without the pass there would be no present…The person that I have become has learned without the wrong I would know no right… well just think about it…If there were no me or you! 4 that matter…my/our children wouldn’t be here nor my/ our grandchildren or what about the lives that we have touched, the people that needed our help..may not have ever gotten any…the many people we feed, clothed, loved, The Bible says we are the salt of the earth with Me or you the world would be short some Flavor…<3<3

    I am thankful for my parents and grandma because of who they are and what they do for me.
    I am thankful for my LA family,Uncle Samuel, Auntie Wenying, Brother Raymond, Leo and Enoch, Sister Alicia, Pastor Gao, Doctor Huang, etc.. Thanks for all their tender loving care.
    I am thankful my trustful friends who are in China, Roger Xin, Leo Zhao, Kiki Ji, I know that I’m safe with them, whatever happens and I feel privileged for calling them my friends.
