For over 20 years, PROPER has been working hard to make our community better. At our events, we provide opportunities to share resources, like talent, food, health information, educational opportunities, kids’ activities, a spirit of community, and more. All of our events are free and open to everyone, thanks to our supporters and our all-volunteer board.
Over the years we’ve brought lots of events to Kenton, but the two we love to host every year are the Kenton Park Festival each August and the Proper Thanksgiving Feast-ival on Thanksgiving Day.
Proper receives support for community events from individuals, local businesses, nonprofits, and other local and national partners. Our supporters donate cash, gift cards, labor, goods, or services to help make Proper events a success.
